Feedback: Roads and traffic - Road signs and signposting

ID: 474532
Creation time: 19.7.2026
Pispalantie 15-22 in student village. All drivers should know that this is a 30 street, however cars that exit from the parking spots in Piispanpelto (both TYS and private) regularly go 50 or 60 on that street. The majority of the cars there are from the privately owned apartments. There are at least 4 spots were cyclists or pedestrians may cross the street where the driver would not have clear visibility so you can imagine what would happen if a child got into the street while the car was going 50km/h. Additionally, there are 2 spots at the beginning of the street where cars come out of the parking lot. The street is already narrow that with the parked cars you have to be very careful exiting the parking lots however it is dangerous even for a non moving car if someone were to collide going 60km/h. I understand it is a small road for a speeding camera, even though the speeding limit is constantly violated also on all the stretch of Inspehtorinkatu and with much higher speeds, so maybe this is a big enough problem for a traffic camera. However on Pispalantie there is not even a sign with the speed limit for people who cannot understand that such a tiny street isn’t possibly an over 30km/h street.
